Florida, U.S.A.-based value-added seafood company Tampa Maid Foods has hired Chantel Torres as its new business development manager for the Southeast region of the United States.
In her new role, Torres will be in charge of developing Tampa Maid’s foodservice distribution business and broker network operating out of the southeast region of the country. Torres will use her experience within the foodservice industry – which includes a seven-year stint with foodservice sales firm The Core Group as its director of corporate business for the Eastern United States – to broaden Tampa Maid’s reach in the sector, said the company.
Torres will be based out of Tampa Maid’s Lakeland, Florida headquarters. She resides in Tampa, Florida.
