The International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF) on Thursday announced Juan Corrales as its new chairman of the board.
Corrales replaces Chris Lischewski of Bumble Bee Foods, who is stepping down after serving two consecutive terms.
“I have known Juan Corrales for more than 10 years and have seen first-hand his passion and commitment to issues of tuna stock sustainability,” said Lischewski. “I know he will continue to advance the priorities that ISSF has established with vigor, enthusiasm and commitment.”
In addition, ISSF announced Javier Garat of Cepesca, the Spanish Fishing Confederation, joined the board.
