More Alaska companies get RFM certification

The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) announced today that 16 more companies have met the requirements of the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization-based Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) chain of custody certification.

The companies, Seafresh Marketing; Integra Foods International Corp.; Labeyrie; Sovintex; Lucky Buck-Signature Seafoods; Ocean Fresh Seafood Company; Tradex Foods; Interpral ULYSSE; Interocean Seafoods; Nova Fisheries dba Sunwave Processors; Tatoosh Seafoods; Worldwide Seafoods; Qingdao Tanford Foods; STI America; 1 Ocean Seafood and Fjord Import SAS, have all received the RFM certification, ASMI said.

According to ASMI, more than 30 companies “recognize RFM as a credible choice in certification.”
