Clear Springs gains BRC certification

Clear Springs Foods last week announced it received certification for the British Retail Consortium (BRC) recognizing its compliance with the Global Standard for Food Safety in the production of raw and cooked fish.

Based in Buhl, Idaho, the vertically integrated company farms rainbow trout and seafood products for the foodservice and retail markets.

“The BRC certification is a verification of Clear Springs Foods’ long-term commitment to the highest quality and food safety standards,” said Randy McMillan, VP of quality assurance.

“It was a great team effort and we are proud of the outstanding leadership provided by our director of quality assurance, Julie Stadelman, who headed up this effort.”
