French dietary supplement producer Laboratoire Lescuyer has announced its Omega-3 supplements have been recertified as sustainable by Friend of the Sea.
The company, according to Friend of the Sea, sources its fish oil from anchovies fished by approved Friend of the Sea purse seine fleets. The product also has a full supply chain traceability.
“The Friend of the Sea certification is very important to us because it acknowledges our commitment to sustainable fishing practices and our sense of responsibility concerning natural resources,” said Lescuyer said in a statement. "Our customers are this way assured that our Omega-3 dietary supplements are from fully sustainable origins."
