Canadian supplement company Renew Life Canada has received Friend of the Sea approval for its omega-3 fish oils.
The company has successfully completed a chain of custody audit. According to Friend of the Sea, Renew Life sources its fish oils from Peruvian anchovies, European sardines and menhaden. All stocks are not overfished, and the company only sources oils from suppliers already approved by Friend of the Sea.
“We are proud to be now certified Friend of the Sea,” said Thomas Bedford, Renew Life Canada’s president. “It is part of our policy to use resources in a sustainable way and this is an important additional recognition for our company."
