Seven Seas recalls smoked salmon

St. Petersburg, Florida-based Seven Seas International is recalling its Biltmore smoked sockeye salmon due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, Lakeland, Florida, U.S.A.-based grocery chain Publix announced.

The problem was discovered through routine regulatory testing conducted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. 

“Consumers who have purchased this product are being advised not to consume it and return it to the store where it was originally purchased for a full refund,” Publix said in a press release.

The affected Biltmore Smoked Sockeye Salmon has a best-by date of May 23, 2019, and GTIN #: 007-36211-88774.
