The Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP), an Arlington, Virginia, U.S.A.-based health and wellness nonprofit, is partnering with TV personality and James Beard award-winning Chef Andrew Zimmern on its popular "Fall in Love with Seafood" campaign.

SNP said its collaboration with Zimmern aims to inspire consumers to incorporate more seafood into their diets through the Fall in Love with Seafood campaign, which highlights seafood's nutritional value, culinary versatility, and sustainability.

Through the partnership, Zimmern will lend his expertise and platform to promote the environmental and health benefits of sustainable seafood choices.

“I’m excited to collaborate with SNP to bring attention to the incredible health, economic and environmental benefits that seafood offers,” Zimmern said. “Seafood is not only delicious; eating more of it provides a wide range of positive impacts on the body and mind and can be better for our planet and for our fisheries.”

Zimmern’s passion for sustainable food production, engaging storytelling, and consumer reach “align with our mission to empower individuals to improve their health through seafood,” SNP Founder and President Linda Cornish said.

Cornish told SeafoodSource in January that SNP is renewing and expanding its successful “Fall in Love with Seafood” campaign to reach more consumers across the U.S. this year.

SNP first launched the campaign in October 2023 as a way to increase seafood consumption and later partnered with U.S. grocery retailer H-E-B to roll out the campaign inside its stores. Soon after, the nonprofit ramped up the campaign and partnered with other retailers including Publix and Harris Teeter.

The new campaign is working to find customers through various initiatives it did not include last year, including three-day cooking demos across 300 of H-E-B’s stores.

Zimmern will also join SNP for a panel discussion titled ”Fall in Love with Seafood: Driving Consumer Behavior Change and Seafood Sales" at the 2025 Seafood Expo North America in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A., on 17 March.

Zimmern's prodution company Intuitive Content also recently co-produced the successful “Hope in the Water” series on PBS in collaboration with multi-award-winning American television writer and producer David Kelley, garnering over 7 million views.

Fed by Blue, an international campaign to promote responsibly produced blue foods, is working to secure funding for a second season of the series.
