Captain D’s is aiming to shore up holiday sales early by promoting some of its most popular dishes for USD 5.99 (EUR 5.29) each through 29 December.
The operator of more than 530 fast casual season restaurants is offering its Signature Batter Dipped Fish and Shrimp; The Sampler – a variety of fish, chicken, and shrimp; Southern Style White Fish; and the Giant Fish Sandwich combo, for USD 5.99. It is also promoting seafood gumbo into the new year.
"We are finishing our 50th year as a beloved seafood brand by thanking our guests and offering four of their favorite dishes at a great price," said Bindi Menon, vice president of national marketing for Captain D’s, in a press release.
Captain D’s also expanded to new regions of the United States recently with the opening of two new restaurants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Danville, Kentucky.
The newest Midwest U.S. franchise location is owned and operated by Valerie Daniels-Carter, president and CEO of V&J Holding Cos. Inc. Daniels-Carter is the country's largest female African-American foodservice franchisee with an extensive portfolio of nationally recognized brands, including Captain D's.
The Danville restaurant is owned by multi-unit operator Shaun Hill and business partners Kelly and Corey Boernsen of Triton Investments.
"Thanks to the record-breaking performance we've accomplished over the past few years, we've been able to forge meaningful relationships with key multi-unit franchisees, such as Valerie Daniels-Carter," said Brad Reed, chief development officer of Captain D’s, in a press release. "Valerie's exceptional expertise in the foodservice industry aligns with our brand's vision and next level of growth as we target untapped regions, such as the Midwest and beyond.”
