Chicken of the Sea reveals new can design

Chicken of the Sea in San Diego is rolling out a new line of seafood products in pull-tab cans to facilitate the opening process for select salmon, tuna and other seafood products sold in the United States.

The seafood provider will offer five of its products in the EZ-Open Cans, which will be available for purchase across the United States starting 15 October:

  • Solid White Albacore in Water in EZ-Open Cans (7 and 5 oz.)
  • Solid White Albacore in Oil in EZ-Open Cans (5 oz.)
  • Chunk Light Tuna in Water in EZ-Open Cans (7 oz.)
  • Skinless & Boneless Pink Salmon in EZ-Open Cans (5 oz.)

Samples of the products will offered in July, and Chicken of the Sea will host a promotion in honor of the pull-tab offerings – the first of their kind to be offered by a major supplier company, company representatives said. The Chicken of the Sea Pull it Off Game and Promo will give consumers the opportunity to win USD 25,000 (EUR 22,339) in instant prizes for checking under the (EZ-Open) lid of their digitized can for a code to play.
