Biltmore has expanded its gourmet food line to include smoked salmon and hake through a partnership with Seven Seas International USA.
Sold through the Asheville, N.C.-based company’s home products division, the new products will be available in retail outlets throughout the U.S. Southeast by late February. The smoked salmon comes in 4-ounce packages in three varieties — Scottish Smoked Salmon, Gravlax with Dill Sauce and Wild-Caught Sockeye Smoked Salmon. A 6-ounce Norwegian Fillet Royale Smoked Salmon is also available. In addition, “steam pouch” hake fillets will be available in two marinade flavors by the fall.
All of the smoked salmon and hake products are sourced from Marine Stewardship Council-certified fisheries.
Biltmore’s line of gourmet foods is an extension of the estate’s culinary heritage and mission to continue operating as a self-sustaining farm.
Seven Seas is based in the Netherlands and supplies seafood to U.S. and European retailers.
