Saucy Fish gets gold in healthy food competition

The Saucy Fish Co. has scooped up a Healthy Food Award for its health-ready meal of Salmon with Rocket and Crème Fraiche Dressing.

Earning the Gold Award in the Healthy Ready Meal category, Saucy Fish trumped stiff competition from brands such as Innocent and IIumi at the inaugural awards ceremony hosted by Health & Fitness and Women’s Fitness magazines.

Readers were in charge of voting for their preferred stand-out food and drink products in the health and fitness category. The Salmon with Rocket and Crème Fraiche meal from Saucy Fish serves two and contains just under 295 calories per serving, making it an ideal fit for the category, noted the company. The winning product is available for EUR 4.50 (USD 4.93) at the online Saucy Shop, and can also be found on shelves in Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Boothes and Budgens locations.

“It’s always fantastic to receive recognition from experts within the health and fitness industry. This is the second time we’ve been awarded the Gold Award in the Healthy Ready Meal category; we’re pleased to see our fuss-free fish and sauce products remain a top choice with health conscience consumers,” remarked Amanda Webb, Sales and Marketing Director at The Saucy Fish Co., on the win.

The win comes on the heels of other accolades: The Saucy Fish Co. was recently elevated to CoolBrand status for the third year running, joining companies like Netflix and Aston Martin in the U.K. with the distinction.
