For the fourth consecutive year, Saucy Fish Co. has been named as one of the United Kingdom’s coolest brands, voted to the 2016/2017 CoolBrands listing by 36 prominent influencers and 2,500 British citizens.
The latest CoolBrands listing, the 15th of its kind, was topped by Apple, and includes brands that beat out thousands of others from 50 sectors based on four factors: authenticity, desirability, innovation and originality. Achieving such a distinction sends a message that Saucy Fish Co. is conducting its image and business well, with authenticity and passion, said the company.
“CoolBrands status illustrates that The Saucy Fish Co. is rated highly by both influencers and the British public,” explained Stephen Cheliotis, Chairman of the CoolBrands Council, in a prepared statement. “This is proof that the brand is considered highly original and innovative, two factors voters consider. It also clearly shows that the brand is desired, a luster that often means it’s chosen ahead of peers.”
Cheliotis added: “CoolBrands status is also testament to the brand being seen as authentic and being passionate about what it does. Although most CoolBrands do not strive to be perceived as cool, being recognised independently in this way is naturally a wonderful affirmation that what the brand is doing is recognised, valued and respected by consumers and those influencing them.”
Influencers who casted their votes for this year’s CoolBrands rankings include musicians DJ Fresh, Ella Eyre and Labrinth; MOBO Founder Kanya King MBE; numerous bloggers such as Fashion Blogger, Camille Charrière, beauty and fashion Vlogger Amelia Liana, and Ella Mills (née Woodward), a foodie, blogger, author and co-founder of the mae deli; fashion designers Melissa Odabash and Amanda Wakeley; and leading editors from publications such as TechRadar, Elle Decoration and InStyle.
