Saucy Fish unveils new products, website

British retail seafood company The Saucy Fish Co. has launched a new magazine-style website, along with a new shrimp product.

The website provides recipes, food news and cooking tips in a new section called The Dock. The online magazine will be themed, with the current issue, Viva España, designed around tapas and related recipes to tie in to the new product, a foil bake bag containing squid, king prawns and chorizo in a sherry and herb butter sauce.

“The Dock provides a reason for fish lovers to spend more time with us being inspired by recipes and engaging articles while other parts of the site provide more practical help on to nutrition and stockists,” said Saucy Fish’s managing director, Simon Smith.

The new product, now on sale at Waitrose stores, is easy to prepare, baked for about 11 minutes right in the bag, similar to other foil bake bag products the company offers.

“We’ve seen a growth in sales within the convenience sector, and our easy to cook foil bake bag range of products are perfectly placed to cater to this audience,” Smith said.
