US grocery chains, distributor pick up Saucy Fish line

Raley’s, which operates 121 stores in the Western United States, will begin carrying three of the Saucy Fish Co.’s frozen fillet and sauce combinations at most of its stores, while Midwest retailer Mariano’s, has also picked up three of the products.

Meanwhile, Chicago, Illinois-based Fortune Fish & Gourmet – one of the largest seafood distributors in the country – now stocks The Saucy Fish Co.’s full range of frozen fillet and sauce combinations.

Grimsby, United Kingdom-based Saucy Fish already has a presence in other U.S. supermarket chains, including Hannaford, Publix, and Whole Foods Market.

“Our new listings with retailers, Raley’s and Mariano’s, and distributor Fortune Fish & Gourmet enable us to take the full frozen range across the United States, inspiring new states to enjoy restaurant-quality frozen fish and sauce at home,” said Paul Macis, international and business development manager for Saucy Fish.

Saucy Fish’s frozen fillet and sauce combinations include: Salmon with Chili, Lime and Ginger Dressing, Smoked Haddock with Aged Cheddar and Chive Sauce, Herb Crusted Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, and Tilapia with Korean BBQ Sauce.
