Verlasso has inked an exclusive partnership with Brooklyn, N.Y.-based smoked producer and distributor Acme Smoked Fish Corp.
For the first time ever, beginning in November, Verlasso smoked salmon will be available nationally in a variety of sizes under Acme’s premium, all-natural Blue Hill Bay Smoked Seafood brand.
Verlasso and Acme collaborated to created smoked salmon options for supermarkets, delis, gourmet and specialty stores, and select catalog and online gourmet retailers. The products will come in two sizes: a 3-ounce ready-to-eat package for home cooking and a bulk package that will range from 2 to 3 pounds for retailers and foodservice operators.

Verlasso, AquaChile’s brand of “harmoniously raised” salmon, also recently announced partnerships with Fortune Fish Co. and Louisiana Foods.
