Young’s plans international growth with new sales director

U.K.-based Young’s Seafood Limited has appointed a new international sales director to drive its overseas business program.

Nick Munday has taken up the new role, joining Young’s from Thorntons PLC., where he was international controller. Munday has also worked at Global Brands Ltd., Constellation Europe Ltd., Hardy Wine Company, Matthew Clark Brands and the Cadbury Group.

Young’s said the appointment reflected the international interest in the Young’s brand from the United States to Australia, Asia and beyond.

With much loved ranges including Gastro and Chip Shop, together with an industry leading innovation stream, Young’s has the potential to become a global brand. Driving the international program is a great opportunity to inspire more people around the world to love fish now and for generations to come,” said Munday.
