Young’s Foodservice is extending its 'Proudly Made in Britain' range to include all Young’s Chip Shop products.

Designed specifically for cafes, pubs, and casual dining restaurants to offer the benefits of traditional chip shop-prepared products in a convenient oven-cooked format, Young’s Chip Shop range will now feature the “Made in Britain” mark on its marketing material.

The 'Made in Britain' campaign was launched following research by Young’s Foodservice which showed seven in 10 Brits would choose British-made products when given the choice. This sparked the brand’s campaign, which saw Young’s join the 'Made In Britain' organization which includes the ‘Made In Britain’ collective marque.

“We are delighted to be able to add more products into our ‘Proudly Made in Britain’ portfolio and hope that foodservice operators will pass on messaging about their use of British-sourced products on their menus, websites and literature. This not only tells a great story about their establishment, but it can also be a key driver for consumers when choosing where to eat out,” said Adrian Greaves, foodservice director at Young’s Foodservice, in a press release.

The Made in Britain-labeled products now include: Young’s Chip Shop Small Battered Cod Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Medium Battered Cod Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Large Battered Cod Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Small Battered White Fish Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Medium Battered White Fish Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Medium Battered Haddock Fish Fillets, Young’s Chip Shop Large Battered Haddock Fish Fillets, and Young’s Chip Shop Jumbo Battered Cod Fish Fingers.
