AQUASOJA, a company within the Soja de Portugal Group agri-food group, has launched a new product range of feeds for the pre-ongrowing period of fish production called NEOGOLD.
Nutritionally adapted to different life stages of juvenile fish, all diets within the NEOGOLD line are rich in marine ingredients and present a “well-balanced profile of aminoacids, fatty acids, and micronutrients,” AQUASOJA said.
According to the company, all NEOGOLD products consist of a set of health- and growth-oriented functional ingredients optimized to: “stimulate the immune system, helping fish fight off endopathogens (parasites and bacteria), contributing to a healthy gastrointestinal system, and ectoparasites, leading to healthy gills and skin; enhance liver metabolism and fat digestion, improving the hepatic function and feed digestibility; and protect body cells against oxidative stress.”
“The holistic approach of NEOGOLD results in higher feed intake, improved growth performance and better survival rates, ultimately increasing fish farmer profits,” AQUASOJA said in a press release.
A brand of Sorgal, AQUASOJA has been focusing on the development, production, and marketing of integrated feed solutions for aquaculture species since 1993.
