Aquaculture health, nutrition, and genetics business Benchmark has appointed Septima Maguire as its chief financial officer (CFO).
While Maguire joined the business on 11 November, she doesn’t take up the CFO role until 18 December, 2019, with Mark Plampin remaining in the position until that date to ensure an effective transition, according to the company.
Maguire joined Benchmark from Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC, where she spent four years.
The appointment comes in the wake of the company’s CEO, Malcolm Pye, stepping down in August, a move that came shortly after Plampin announced he would step down in July.
