Isola, Mississippi, U.S.A.-based Consolidated Catfish Producers, LLC, has promoted Joe Forrester to the role of vice president of sales and marketing.
Forrester has 40 years of experience in sales, product management, and marketing. He has spent more than two years with Consolidated Catfish, Jack Perkins, the company’s vice president of business development, said in a press release announcing Forrester’s promotion.
“After more than two years with the company, Joe has showcased his distinct ability to move Consolidated Catfish Producers, LLC forward. His dedication, and enthusiasm will be a great fit as we continue to grow,” Perkins said.
A graduate of Towson University, Forrester has a master’s degree in business administration. He has worked for several leading food industry enterprises over the course of his career so far, including Kraft, Dole, and Seafood America.
Outside of seafood, Forrester acts as an Elvis tribute artist and singer, and is an active participant with Wreaths Across America, which honors veterans for their service. He and his wife, Barbara, have two children, and live in Indianola, Mississippi.
Established in 1967, Consolidated Catfish Producers is the purveyor of the Country Select and Delta Pride Catfish brands.
In December 2020, Perkins stepped down from the position of vice president of sales and makreting, though he retained the title of vice president of business development. Perkins will also remain involved with the company's Gulf Pride Shrimp product line.
