Blue Cheese Salmon Burgers are being recalled by H-E-B due to an undeclared allergen, the San Antonio, Texas-based retailer announced 4 August.
The seafood products contain wheat, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label, the company said in a recall release.
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” H-E-B wrote in its announcement.
The retailer said all affected products have been removed from supermarket shelves and counters. The impacted burger products were originally sold “behind the seafood counter, in the seafood department, and in the meal simple area in H-E-B retail stores throughout Texas,” the company said.
To-date, no illnesses associated with the products have been reported, H-E-B added.
H-E-B’s voluntary recall impacts products with dates up to and on 3 August, 2020, including:

Full refunds will be provided for all affected products returned to stores. Customers with questions or concerns have been encouraged by the company to call H-E-B customer relations.
