Seafood products recalled in Canada over allergens

Two Canadian distributors have recalled seafood products over undeclared allergens on the labels.

Toronto, Ontario-based TLW Trading recalled its “Pre-Fried Cuttlefish Flavoured Fish Cake” due to undeclared egg. The recall applies to 300-gram packages of the fish cakes with certain UPC codes.

The fish cakes were distributed in British Columbia.

Meanwhile, Concord, Ontario-based Korea Food Trading Ltd. recalled several packaged seafood products due to undeclared sesame and fish.

The recalled products include non-branded Spicy Small Squid Salt-Pickled, Spicy Pollack Entrais Salt-Pickled, Spicy Small Octopus Salt-Pickled, and Spicy Sea Squirt Salt-Pickled.
