Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada-based aquaculture design and technology company PR Aqua ULC has become the Canadian distributor for Atlantium Technology’s Hydro-OpticTM (HOD) ultraviolet technology.
Beit-Shemesh, Israel-based Atlantium produces water biosecurity equipment for several industries, including the aquaculture industry. As part of the partnership, aquaculture design and technology provider PR Aqua ULC, will incorporate Atlantium HOD UV into all of its U.S.-based aquaculture projects.
“We are excited about this opportunity to represent Atlantium UV in North America where we have a long and successful history providing systems design and high-quality equipment to aquaculture customers” PR Aqua Product and Sales Manager Ian Race said in a press release.
Atlantium systems have been installed in aquaculture facilities around the globe, with more than 3,000 of its HOD UV units installed globally.
“We’ve been working cooperatively with PR Aqua for several years on some big projects in North America and we are now excited to formally work together to bring our UV systems to market in Canada and the U.S.,” Atlantium Head of Sales Global Aquaculture Aran Lavi said. “The team at PR Aqua has many years of experience in the aquaculture market that will help expand our presence in North America.”
In November 2019, Aqua ULC was named as the new distributor for Hydrotech’s aquaculture drum and disc filters.
