The vessel will measure to 46 meters in length and will be built at a subsidiary for the shipyard in Vigo, according to reports by Faro de Vigo. This will be the second support vessel constructed for Albacora in the last few years – last year, a tuna auxiliary vessel measuring 50 meters in length was created for the company.
Albacora owns one of the largest tuna fishing fleets in Europe. The group was set up in 1974 alongside its parent company, Albacora S.A.
