Bundrant, Wallace Reappointed to ASMI Board

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin yesterday reappointed Joe Bundrant and Bruce Wallace to the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute's seven-member Board of Directors.

Bundrant has been VP of sales and marketing for Trident Seafoods Corp. in Seattle, one of the country's largest seafood processing companies, since 1997. He was first appointed to the board in 2004 and reappointed in 2005. Bundrant, who serves as chairman, was reappointed to a seat representing large processors.

Wallace is a longtime Juneau, Alaska, commercial fisherman who currently participates in the Southeast salmon seine fishery and tenders for other fisheries. He's active in the United Fishermen of Alaska, chairing the organization's environmental committee, and is a member of the Tongass Futures Roundtable. Wallace, who serves as vice chair, was first appointed to the board in 2004 and reappointed to a seat designated for seafood harvesters.
