Copeinca releases Q3 results

Despite fishing bans and port closures, Copeinca’s Q3 results this year show one of Peru’s largest fishmeal and fish oil companies caught 100 percent of its quota during its first fishing season, which ended on 30 July.

The company caught 11,900 metric tons of mackerel and jack mackerel. The company’s report indicates this represents about 10 percent of market share.

Revenues as of 30 September, according to the Q3 report, were USD 264.9 million (EUR 204.4 million), and profits were USD 90.1 million (EUR 69.5 million), representing 34 percent of net sales.
