Erik Fihlman named seafood program manager at Linde

Erik Fihlman has been named program manager of bakery, prepared foods and seafood for Linde LLC, a member of the Linde Group.

Linde, a multinational conglomerate with annual revenue in excess of USD 19 billion (EUR 17 billion), has its North American headquarters in Murray Hill, N.J., U.S.A. Among other businesses, Linde performs cryogenic chilling and freezing operations and modified-atmosphere packaging, including for use in the seafood industry.

Fihlman will head up the company’s effort to commercialize new technologies and marketing programs that serve prepared food and seafood processors, among other duties.

Fihlman has a decade of experience in business, including roles including field engineering, project management and solutions selling. In previous roles at Linde, he was responsible for food freezing and chilling applications, technical sales, and food industry segment growth for Linde’s Eastern U.S. and Midwest regions.

Prior to joining the business world, Fihlman spent eight years as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. Fihlman is a 1999 graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marine engineering. He is based at Linde’s New Jersey headquarters.
