FPI Appoints LaBelle VP Sales and Marketing

Fishery Products International yesterday announced it appointed Jim LaBelle VP of sales and marketing.

LaBelle previously held the title of VP of marketing at FPI. Since joining the company in 2003, he has served as senior director of retail/club sales and marketing as well as foodservice marketing director.

LaBelle has also held senior-level positions at Ocean Spray and Wine.com. In his new position, he will be responsible for integration and execution of all foodservice marketing and sales activities including strategic planning, overall sales management, advertising and new product development.

"Jim's leadership of our selling and marketing efforts will help both FPI and our customers grow their businesses with innovative products and strategies, in keeping with the core equities of the FPI brand," says Keith Decker, COO of High Liner Foods, FPI's parent company. "His focus on effective teamwork and breakthrough initiatives will help us set a new standard of service and support for our customers."
