Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, the fifth and current president of Iceland, addresses a crowd at a luncheon titled “The Evolution of Sustainability and the Role of Choice” and hosted by the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute and Iceland Responsible Fisheries on Tuesday. The luncheon coincided with Day 1 of the European Seafood Exposition. After the luncheon, President Grímsson hit the show floor to visit with Iceland’s exhibitors — he’s the first president in the 20-year history of the show to attend.
