Icelandic Group announced today it is appointing Axel Pétur Ásgeirsson as its new director of sales and sourcing coordination.
Ásgeirsson grew up with fishing in his family. He started as a fisherman at age 11. He worked for Icelandic Iberia in Spain and later for El Buen Bacalao.L and Fishpack A.L. Bacalao. Since 2008, he has been the co-owner and sales director for Continental Seafood, specializing in exporting salted and lightly salted fish products.
