Two companies based in the United States, Dynamic Systems Inc. and Northlake Partners, formed a joint venture in July designed to design and market a fully-automated enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Two months in, the companies have announced a successful integration of their applications into an ERP system that is designed to help seafood processors collect real-time production traceability data and shipping information.
“The result is a powerful system that will increase productivity, lower costs and improve revenues,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The integration of Northlake Partners’ NorthScope system and Dynamic System’s SIMBA will help seafood processors track sales, inventory, logistics, accounting and management reporting that doesn’t require keyboard data entry to collect production and traceability information, the companies said in their release.
