MOL's President, CEO Suzuki Retires

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines America (MOL America) announced Osamu Suzuki is retiring after three years as president and CEO.

Suzuki held numerous positions since joining MOL in 1973. He served as general manager of the liner division and managing director of MOL Asia and he has accepted a post-retirement position as executive VP of MOL Ferry Co., Japan.

Nororu Kitazawa will replace Suzuki as president, CEO and chairman. Kitazawa has been with MOL 33 years, most recently serving at MOL Tokyo as executive officer of the liner division. He previously held the positions of general manager of the planning department and general manager.

MOL operates one of the largest networks of liner and logistics services worldwide, including weekly Transpacific, Transatlantic, Americas and Asia-Europe services. MOL (America) Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
