Norwegian salmon prices increased 9.64 percent over the seventh week of 2023.
Prices are up NOK 8.77 (USD 0.85, EUR 0.80) week-over-week, according to the Nasdaq Salmon Index.
The weighted average index of weekly sales prices and volumes of fresh Atlantic superior salmon, head-on gutted – reported by a panel of Norwegian salmon exporters and salmon producers – found the average per-kilogram price of Norwegian salmon to be NOK 99.81 (USD 9.63, EUR 9.08).
Fish Pool reported total sales volumes for Norwegian salmon exporters in the third week of February 2023 were down from last week, and down 14 percent from the corresponding week from 2022.
