Norwegian farmed salmon prices increased in the final week of 2025, especially for large fish. 

 According to the Sitagri Salmon Index (SISALMONI), Week 52 of 2025, which occurred from 21 to 27 December, saw average salmon prices jumping 16.7 percent week over week to NOK 98.93 (USD 9.85, EUR 8.42). Fish weighing more than 5 kilograms fetched the highest prices in the market, which contracted by volume to 12,527 metric tons (MT) of fresh salmon exports, marking a week-over-week drop of 11,415…
