Pinnacle Foods Inc., the company behind the popular frozen seafood brand Van de Kamp’s, has found a new Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer in D. Michael Wittman.
Wittman, who is slated to replace Tony Fernandez, will start in his new role on 2 November. He will leave behind his current position with Mars Chocolate North America, where he has lead the supply chain since 2008, to join the Pinnacle team. Before joining Mars, Wittman spent over 25 years within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, including leadership roles in J&J Consumer Companies and McNeil Consumer Products.
"I am pleased to welcome Mike to Pinnacle in the important role of leading our supply chain. His knowledge of the food and consumer products industry, as well as his strong experience leading the different aspects of the supply chain enterprise, will make him a strong addition to our team," said CEO Bob Gamgort on Wittman’s hire.
Wittman, 53, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.
