Preferred Freezer Services of Newark, N.J., has opened a full-service refrigerated warehouse in Jacksonville, Fla., the company announced on Monday.
The facility is the company's third in Florida, and is one of eight scheduled to open this year. It has 8.7 million cubic feet of freezer capacity and is HACCP (hazard analysis critical control point) certified.
Preferred employs almost 600 workers and operates facilities in New York, California, Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
