Record number of new products expected at Seafood Expo Asia

Visitors to Seafood Expo Asia (SEA) next month will have the opportunity to preview more than 80 new seafood products expected to be on display at the New Product Showcase.

Organizers expect thousands of visitors from more than 75 countries to attend the expo from 8 to 10 September at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center.

“Over the three-day event, hundreds of exhibiting companies will launch their latest seafood products or services intended for the Asian market,” said Terri Tsang, SEA’s show director. “The New Product Showcase gives buyers who are looking for new business ideas and products an opportunity to discover some of the newest products entering the market, identify trends in the industry and explore the latest culinary advances.”

The products run the gamut, including but not limited to frozen prepared Greenland halibut steak from Yen & Friends Enterprise Co.; frozen Australian greenlip abalone meat from Seabo International; cuttlefish ink from Nortindal Sea Products; La déesse blanche from Gabriel Seafood Co.; kaluga sturgeon caviar from Chunan Qiandaohu Xunlong Import and Export Co.; Hoki fillets FIAB from APFT Trading Hong Kong; Organic blue shrimp from Crustrade Pte and roasted seaweed from Nantong J. Top Foods Co.
