Sæplast Americas, a maker of specialty plastic tubs for the food industry, has made two additions to its sales force in North America.
The subsidiary of Iceland-based company RPC Sæplast hired Will Sumner as territory manager for the central United States and Shelley Simao as territory manager for Western Canada and the U.S. West Coast.
“With the additional [sic] of these two highly respected and motivated individuals located in two core geographies, Sæplast is confident they can service any material handling and cold-chain opportunity customers have,” the company said in a press release.
Sumner has 20 years of sales experience in the meat and food processing industries, including stints with Reiser, Baader, Marel and R.A. Jones. He has a degree from the University of Kentucky and lives in Louisville, Kentucky.
Simao previously held positions at Applied Plastics, Plascon Plastics and Ropak. She will start her job on 17 October, Sæplast Americas said in its release.
