Seafood traceability software vendor Trace Register has hired Alex Miller to be its new VP of business development.
Prior to joining the company, based in Seattle, Wash. USA, Miller worked for the Gulf States Marine Fisheries Commission as staff economist and program coordinator.
“Alex helped guide the seafood industry through rough waters including in the aftermath of a large oil spill, Hurricane Katrina and global economic instability. He’s briefed Congress, The White House, and other governmental agencies about issues facing the global seafood industry,” said Trace Register CEO Phil Werdal. “We are very fortunate to add him to the Trace Register team.”
Miller said he was “excited” about joining the company.
