As part of its “Love Fish” campaign, Young’s Seafood on Tuesday announced it hired a field sales team.

The sales team will travel across Britain in the company’s new branded Mini Coopers to meet with about 800 key Young’s customers. They will visit with customers regularly to brief managers about Young’s products, promotions and TV advertising and help to boost product availability and visibility.

So far, the sales team includes Robert Birch, Dino Ransom and James Campbell, who set out this month. Young’s will add two more to the team by the end of July.

“The field sales team and the cars represent a major investment for Young’s and is an exciting new way for us to increase customer communication and brand understanding,” said Steve Baker, the company’s sales director. “Since the Minis will spend their entire lives either on the road or in supermarket car parks they are in themselves another great advertisement for the brand and our ‘Love Fish’ drive.”
