Red Lobster rolls out Friday Lent special

Red Lobster, which operates more than 700 seafood restaurants in the United States and Canada, has launched a Fish & Chips special, available on Fridays throughout the Lenten season.

Red Lobster is promoting its Fish & Chips dish, regularly priced at USD 13.99 (EUR 12.47) on average, for USD 10.00 (EUR 8.91) until 6 p.m. on Fridays through 19 April.

The Fish & Chips dish, which features hand-battered wild cod and is served with french fries and coleslaw, is the same dish included on the restaurant chain’s core menu, a spokesperson told SeafoodSource.

The special is part of Red Lobster’s “Weekday Win Menu,” which encourages customers to dine at the restaurant before 6 p.m. on weekdays.

Some other “Weekday Win” specials include: Endless Shrimp for USD 15.00 (EUR 13.37) on Mondays; Admirals Feast – which includes fried Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips, and wild-caught flounder – on Tuesdays; and a “Four-Course Feast” on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The USD 10.00 Fish & Chips deal is not available in Puerto Rico, Canada, Times Square (New York, New York), and Hawaii, nor for delivery.
