In addition to Sainsbury, Tesco, and other major U.K.-based supermarkets, The Saucy Fish Co.’s frozen line is now carried in The Food Warehouse stores nationwide in Iceland.
After a “highly successful” trial launch in one Food Warehouse store, Saucy Fish’s full frozen range has been expanded to more than 80 of the chain’s stores across the country, the supplier said in a statement.
Saucy Fish’s frozen products include: Smoked Haddock & Cheddar Fishcakes, Salmon with a Chilli, Lime & Ginger Dressing, Smoked Haddock with Vintage Cheddar & Chive Sauce, and Salmon & Cod with Hollandaise Fishcakes.
Saucy Fish has also simultaneously embarked on a three-month-long multichannel marketing campaign to support the Iceland launch.
Since launching its frozen line last year, Saucy Fish’s public relations and marketing campaign has generated over 105 million impressions, “using innovative marketing formats such as VDX (video-driven experiences) display units and creating inspirational video content with Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube and Made in Chelsea star, Oliver Proudlock,” the supplier said.
