Good news out of Russia’s Primorsky region

Good news for our present and future consumers — in 2011 fishing industry of Primorsky region of Russia showed a positive trend of development which seems to go on in 2012. Some data:

+ 114.7 percent to 2011 — for fishing

+ 109.4 percent  to 2011 — for seafood processing and canning

Among the main tasks that were identified by the Primorie Fishery Council for 2012 are maintaining volumes of aquatic biological resources catches at the level of 2011 and drawing more investment into fixed assets to reach its 15 percent rise by the end of 2012. The latter decision is very important since it opens new possibilities for both domestic and foreign investors.

What drives this? Many analysts share the opinion that the investments in fishing industry can be far more reliable compared to, for example, real estate or equities. If you have any ideas or questions, do share them here!
