With the 2016 Seafood Expo Global / Seafood Processing Global show just weeks away, the SeafoodSource team is at the Diversified Communications office – alongside the Brussels event organizers – to bring you exclusive, in-depth pre-show coverage.

Ever since the 22 March terrorist attacks in Brussels, Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global administrators have been busy collaborating with local officials to ensure that this year’s event, to be held from 26 to 28 April, follows an extensive security protocol. For the latest news regarding security measures being rolled out at this year’s expo, refer to the SeafoodSource daily newsletter, the official expo website (http://www.seafoodexpo.com/global/security/) and the new Brussels security website (http://www.welcomeseafood.brussels/), updated daily by Diversified.

As the official media outlet for Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global – a distinction no other news site can claim – SeafoodSource plans to provide 360-degree coverage before, during and after the show. This includes routine updates on our social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as in our newsletters and on the SeafoodSource website.

Keep an eye out on 26 April for the first of three special Expo Today newsletters, which are sent to all attendees and exhibitors registered for SEG16. If you’re looking to share your news with the entire SEG audience, make sure to stop by the SeafoodSource booth (No. 9-4215 and 9-4015), ping us on social media or flag down an editor on the showfloor.

We here at SeafoodSource take pride in our leading social media event coverage. As such, we will be providing live updates throughout SEG16 – follow and tweet at us on Twitter @SeafoodSource. Don’t forget to tag all of your tweets with the official #SEG16 hashtag so we can see you and retweet your expo news. Our Twitter feed will include coverage of this year’s Seafood Excellence Global awards, so be sure to check back in with us for the latest on the finalists and winners.

Also, be sure to bookmark our dedicated SEG16 landing page for all the latest breaking industry news to surface at and before the event. Have some news you want to share and promote? Send it over to one of our editors: [email protected] (Cliff White, Editor), [email protected] (Madelyn Kearns, Associate Editor) and [email protected] (Michelle McNickle, Digital Product Manager).

See you at the show!
