AquaChile inks sales deal for Chilean salmon, trout

AquaChile has signed a new commercial agreement with salmon and trout producer Ventisqueros to sell trout and salmon in North America.

AquaChile has been selling trout and salmon to the United States from Chile since 2002. The agreement, according to a joint statement, “will afford a more stable and continuous supply to current clients as well as deepen and widen sales of Chilean production to new clients and geographic areas.”

“The experience and in-depth knowledge of the American market that AquaChile has developed for over 12 years will allow Ventisqueros to gain access to a higher quantity of clients considered to be ‘end users’ of its products,” said Víctor Hugo Puchi, chairman of Empresas AquaChile.

The company will be selling Ventisqueros trout and salmon to its clients both in the United States and Canada.
