Australis SA on Monday released its third-quarter results.
The Chilean farmed salmon company’s total assets grew by USD 114.2 million, from the end of the third quarter of 2010 to the end of the third quarter of 2011.
Its revenues increased 152 percent to USD 120.7 million in the third quarter of 2011, while its profits more than tripled to USD 28.2 million, thanks to higher sales at its Australis Mar SA subsidiary and the introduction of summer egg sales at its Landcatch Chile subsidiary.
Australis acquired Landcatch Chile, one of Chile’s largest salmon egg producers, in late 2009.
