CO2 Group has executed agreements to acquire the business and business assets of Queensland prawn aquaculture company Seafarm for AUD 7 million (USD 6.2 million, EUR 4.6 million).
Further payments of about AUD 2.1 million (USD 1.9 million, EUR 1.4 million) will me made in 2015 and 2016.
The acquisition makes CO2 one of the largest aquaculture prawn producers in Australia and is expected to be earnings positive this financial year.
