The leading position of Greek aquaculture will be a key message shared by the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (HAPO) at the upcoming Seafood Expo Global event, taking place in Brussels, Belgium from 7 to 9 May.
HAPO, which represents approximately 80 percent of Greece’s aquaculture industry, is looking forward to strengthening its corporate image at the expo and increasing awareness for its Fish from Greece brand, the collective said in a press release. The group will be “actively demonstrating its mission to preserve the leading position of Greek aquaculture” at its high-tech pavilion, which will feature a combination of newly produced marketing and audio-visual materials, several live cooking demonstrations, and a contest that will net the winner a culinary weekend for two in Athens, Greece.
A privately-owned non-profit, HAPO’s membership is comprised of 21 Greek seafood farmers. The organization has had a presence at several events in 2019 so far, including last month’s Seafood Expo North America, held in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as the Food Expo, held in Athens.
HAPO will be exhibiting at Seafood Expo Global in Hall 6 at Stand #901.
