Fish feed giant Nutreco has appointed Viggo Halseth as the COO of its aquaculture division, the company announced on Monday.
He will succeed Knut Nesse, who is taking over as Nutreco’s CEO beginning 1 August.
Halseth’s appointment is for four years, from 1 August 2012 through 1 August 2016.
Halseth has worked for parent company Skretting since 1984 in a range of managerial roles. Since 2009, he’s been the managing director of Skretting Northern Europe and Australia.
